I will add a few close up shots so some of the little trinkets, beads and stitches can be seen. I just adore this little spider [with BLING]. I've been saving him for something like this!! He's actually a lapel pin, but fits in beautifully with the crazy patchwork mantra - must have a spider. Okay, the must have fan is somewhere on here too!!!
These photos just seem to be out of sequence to how I'd like them. I am not used to Blogger's new way of uploading photos, so please bear with this post, as it is not the most regimented!!! |
Linda, this is The Sweetest Needle book. It is a treasure! So pretty. My work tends to be a RIOT of colour, but I do admire soft, gentle colours too.Lovely!
ReplyDeleteBest Needlecase Ever!!!!! Seriously linda, this is soooo pretty. They are always lovely but this is so sweet. You know i love the soft colours for crazy patchwork and this is wonderfully soft. The flower buttons are my favourite ;) They look very similar to ones I have on my crazy patchwork. LOL!
ReplyDeleteJust so beautiful. In my mind it reflects the gentleness of Spring through the colours and embroidery you have used.
ReplyDeleteHugs for you.
Oh Linda, this is so sweet. I love the fact that you managed to incorporate so many lovely elements without it looking busy.
ReplyDeleteI am so far behind with my needlebooks but you can expect to see some soon. ( I hope)
I can only say the same, so, so sweet! There is a lot going on there and all the shades are very pretty and go well together. That's a thing a bout crazy patchwork, you can go a little crazy with ideas and you pulled it of beautifully:)
ReplyDeleteA beautiful needlebook. You have got some wonderful embeelishments on it. I love the flower buttons.
ReplyDeleteLinda this one is so beautiful. I really, really love it! Also congratulations on your so effective staging.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to display those little treasures that we save up for "quite what", we don't know at the time we acquire them.
Amazing, amazing, amazing Linda i just love the soft colours and everything about it....well done you xx
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful needlecase Linda! Love catching up on what you have been creating.
ReplyDeleteYou never cease to amaze me with your work Linda. The needle case is lovely from every angle. Some of the stitches you used are unique (at least to me). Can you tell me the name of the stitch you have done with the blue varigated threads and also the pink stitch (by the little owl).
ReplyDeleteYou are an inspiration to me. Wow!
Cheers,
Linda A
